Procedures for Emergency Closure (i.e. in the event of snow, flood, loss of power)
We endeavour to remain open at all times, but should this not be possible you could find out by one of five ways:-
· check the Local Authority Emergency Closure system website, which shows which schools are closed at http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/closedschools
· listen to the recorded message on our Careline number 01452 722697
· listen to announcements on local radio stations. Severn Sound or Radio Gloucestershire
· check our website http://www.beechgreenprimary.ik.org - a message would be posted at the top of our home page if closed or due to close.
· check Severn Sound's website http://www.severnsound.co.uk
May we ask that you please do not phone our main school number to enquire, as this will jam our communications at a vital time, nor phone the radio stations. Thank you.
